Entirely too long (almost 3 hours is sinful) and a movie you’ve seen a thousand times but I mostly dug this and its steadfast ambition in being a big, beautiful 90s blockbuster. Globetrotting all across the world and not a superhero or spy or whatever the hell else in sight, just incredible racing. Kosinski is very good at this sorta thing.

The way Top Gun propaganda’d people into joining the Navy, if nothing else, this movie made me want to get super into watching F1.
