Not to compare, always kinda lazy to do that, but this really reminded me of when Ti West was great. Specifically House of the Devil or Innkeepers Ti West, back when he understood restraint. Moves at a great, tense clip until it uncorks at just the right moment. Really dug this, devolves into some Real Freak Shit that I appreciated the hell out of.
